Crista Carter is a poet and creative currently living in Maryland. Introduced to the craft early in life, She has used it as a tool to reflect on and express some of her most difficult experiences.

Her debut collection of writing, Take What You Need Leave The Rest, is an observation of the grieving process and her hope is that the documentation of her journey will illuminate the complexity of a universally shared experience.
