Kim Elliott lives in British Columbia, Canada with her husband and two busy kids. When she isn't writing, she enjoys looking at memes, eating donuts, and shopping for jeans. (That last one was a blatant lie.)

Kim loves that butterfly feeling when two characters finally realize they’re perfect for each other. She has a particular soft spot for tough guys who are secretly cinnamon rolls on the inside. If you crave that tingle of excitement when reading about two people on the verge of falling in love, her books might be for you!

This book is difficult to rate/review because the genre was deliberately mislabeled in order to hide the plot twist. I understand why the author did this, but no HEA means it’s not a romance novel. I don’t like being lied to.
