MARK WHITTLE has a BA from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He is originally from Southern California but grew up in Spain. He has lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina and has traveled and worked extensively throughout Latin America. He currently lives in the Washington, D.C. area with his wife and three sons. The Jacarandas is his first novel.
