I've always wanted to say that I was born in a wolf cave, but I don't think anyone would believe me here. Long story short: I was born in Ann Arbor, lived in 7 different states throughout my childhood, and have had multiple different careers in adulthood.

I have been a professional magician, an enlisted member in the armed services as a military intelligence specialist, a physician (I went to medical school at Michigan State University and specialized in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine), and now a writer.

I currently live in Ohio with my wife and daughter. I also live with Trudy (A Neapolitan Mastiff/Ogre), Floyd (A doofusy Poodle), Eugene (a masochistic cat), and Norman (A feline with a very large primordial pouch). ...more
