Victoria Meyers, hMa, founding partner of hanrahan Meyers architects (hMa), practices architecture in New York and Los Angeles, and specializes in designing buildings that use light, sound, and other natural phenomenon as material aspects of design: www.hanrahanMeyers.com; www.VictoriaMeyers.com.

When I am ready to write a book on a topic, I go to my blog, and print my posts that relate to the topic of my book. For my last book, Shape of Sound, I spent one year basically organizing posts I had written over the previous 5 -6 years. It's a great way to start writing. In fact, when Cage was still alive, I used to live not far from Cage and Merce Cunningham. Through my interest in Cage, I became very interested in Sound Art. My first Sound Art contact was DJ Olive.
