Jeanéva Christie spent the first eighteen years of her life as a military brat on the west coast and Alaska. During those years, she learned that family isn't always those you are born into. Sometimes the family you adopt along the way is the best. They are there through thick and thin because they choose to be.

Jeanéva has always been passionate about whatever she sets her mind to, whether it's children, family, veterans, the elderly, or the disabled. She is creative and artistic. She has flights of fancy and a need to share her stories. When she isn't caring for her elderly disabled veteran father or writing, she spends her time reading and cuddling with her Yorkie, Schnuckie.
