Charissa Roberson was born in Frederick, Maryland. She has been an avid reader ever since she first learned how, and her back-up back-up bookshelf is currently well on its way to overflowing. She graduated from Roanoke College with degrees in creative writing and French and a concentration in screen studies. Currently, she is pursuing an MFA in creative writing at Hollins University. Her publications include two collections of children's short stories for Mission Minded Publishers, as well as the historical booklet "Discovering Eaglehead," which was written for her hometown of Lake Linganore.
