Book one is titled " There's No Such Thing as Never in Forever" and newly released book two is "The Last Streamers of Confetti on New Year's Eve." The Following Forever Series by Kenneth and Judy Nichols Fecteau is an action packed, fantasy adventure series that follows the present and past lives of the four teen members of the rock band, The Mols.
In book one of the series, "There’s No Such Thing as Never in Forever," the four friends are adopted into The Mistook Native American Tribe. Under the guidance of Rosethorn, Shaman of the tribe, they go on a vision quest during which they must navigate their way through time to retrieve an ancient talisman, lost centuries ago by the tribe. Following Rosethorn’s cryptic clues, they find themselves alone in an grungy port city in the year, 1888. There, they are captured by the maniacal leader of a pirate gang who also seeks the talisman. They must rely on their own wits, and a little help from new-found friends, to find the talisman and execute their daring escape through a world of past and present with death nipping at their heels.
In book two, "The Last Streamers of Confetti on New Year's Eve," the teens realize that their vision quest is not over. Mandy and Lizzy are assigned to write a newspaper article about the Manchester Castle Hotel's upcoming one hundredth anniversary celebration set for New Year’s Day. They are aware of the hotel’s reputation for paranormal occurrences. It isn’t until their first night’s stay that they have “dreams” that lead them to believe that they are actually experiencing past lives in 1928 New Orleans. As they merge into their past-life incarnations, they find themselves crawling across rooftops by night, as gang-fighting vigilantes, and writing for the New Orleans Nitpicker newspaper by day. Along with their friends, they make a plan to rid the French Quarter of the gang that is bringing violence, death and destruction to the city. When the plans are set into action, danger and death become reality. It is only when the last streamers of confetti fall on New Year’s Eve, that present and past life relationships merge.
Readers of Young Adult, New Adult or Adult Fantasy Fiction will love this imaginative series full of action, romance, humor and page turning suspense.

New Book Review, The Last Streamers of Confetti on New Year's Eve
Posted on March 1, 2025 by Jeyran Main, the founder and Editor-in-chief of Review Tales Publishing & Editing Services and Review Tales Magazine. She is a professional book editor and reviewer.
“The Last Streamers of Confetti on New Year’s Eve” by Kenneth Nichols Fecteau and Judy Nichols Fecteau is an electrifying blend of paranormal adventure, historical fiction, and indigenous spirituality. The novel centers on Mandy, Lizzy, Hugo, and Yerma, four members of the Mistook Tribe, who find themselves caught between the present and their past lives during a writing assignment at a haunted hotel. As they undergo a powerful vision quest, they are thrust into a thrilling journey that takes them back to 1928 New Orleans, where their past selves, Zoey and Desiree, are tasked with ridding the French Quarter of a dangerous gang.
The story intricately weaves together the lives of the characters in both the modern and historical timelines. Mandy and Lizzy, while at the Manchester Castle Hotel, begin to experience vivid dreams that transport them into their past lives as daring flappers. Their alter-egos are courageous women on a mission to stop the criminal activities of a gang led by the wealthy Louis D’Quad. As they dive deeper into their shared past, they unravel the truth about DeQuad’s true accomplice: the formidable Queen Ant LaRouge, a villain from their previous vision quest.
As their bandmates, Hugo and Yerma, also embark on their own journey through guided meditation, they find themselves inhabiting the lives of Eric Strand, a dedicated Federal Agent, and Victoria Guerrera, the owner of a speakeasy under the thumb of D’Quad. Together, the four characters unite in the French Quarter to investigate the growing crime syndicate, only to discover a deeper, more sinister connection to their previous adventure.
The historical setting of 1928 New Orleans adds rich layers to the narrative. The authors do an excellent job of capturing the essence of the Jazz Age, with its speakeasies, prohibition, and the sense of mystery that permeated the French Quarter. The introduction of the Midnight Shadows, a vigilante group led by Zoey and Desiree, adds a thrilling, action-packed element as they fight to protect the innocent from D’Quad’s criminal empire.
The suspense builds to a fever pitch as the characters close in on the true mastermind behind the criminal operations, and the novel’s conclusion delivers an emotional and intense face-off in Jackson Square. The final scenes are a powerful resolution that brings together the past and present, offering closure and a sense of unity between the two lifetimes.
*The Last Streamers of Confetti on New Year’s Eve* is a captivating story about identity, reincarnation, and the unbreakable ties that bind people across time. The Fecteaus masterfully blend paranormal elements with historical intrigue, creating a narrative that is both thrilling and thought-provoking. The novel’s unique premise, strong character development, and engaging plot twists make it a memorable read for fans of mystery, adventure, and historical fiction.

A New 5 Star Review on Amazon

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is a great read!

This book is a great read! It’s full of adventure, and even has a little romance. There are no slow chapters. Each chapter flows into the next taking readers along through a vortex, aboard sailing ships in battle, with the constant threat of Queen Ant who wants the crystal heart badly enough to possibly murder Lizzy and Mandy to get it. A must read, and I’m looking forward to the sequel. Also, ordering another book for my grandchildren to enjoy. Although I’m not a teenager anymore, except at heart sometimes, I enjoyed this book. It receives a five-star rating from me!THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS NEVER IN FOREVER
