In 1980 mainstream punk is dead, long gone, but not so for underground punk, it's thriving.

Skinner wants to be a part this so he sets about forming his own band.

The narrative takes the reader on a journey from a kid messing about on his guitar in his bedroom to a fully fledged band playing gigs.

It's all here,
finding the right people, the first band practices, the fights, parties, loves lost and found, breaking the law, home visits from the police, arguments with parents, job interviews for dead end jobs, and finally the gigs, the good, the bad and the hilarious.
