Hello, Readers!
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Jackie Stef, and I'm so excited to introduce myself as a new author with Harlequin's Love Inspired line. My debut book, Their Make-Believe Match, releases on 7/26/22 (but you can pre-order now)!
Lancaster County is incredibly close to my heart. I have countless, precious childhood memories of exploring the backroads of Amish Country, and those experiences fueled my love of the simple life. Rural Pennsylvania is home, and it seemed like the perfect setting for my very first book.
Sadie and Isaac's story is one of healing and faith, things I hope that we could all use more of. I sincerely hope that you'll love these characters as much as I enjoyed writing them!

A Book Is Born
Hello, Readers! We are less than a month away from the official release day of my debut book, Their Make-Believe Match. This is such an exciting time as a new author! My book is on sale now (from Harlequin's website only) and I've been humbled and honored by readers who have already reached out to me to let me know how much they enjoyed this story.
Recently I've been asked how I came up with the plot of Their Make-Believe Match. The truthful answer is a bit disappointing; I don't know how I came up with the plot. However, I can say that the book's final two scenes came to me first. Without giving away any spoilers, an emotional moment of "redemption in the rain" has always floated around my writer's mind, and I was thrilled to be able to make it a major part of Sadie and Isaac's story.

Their Make-Believe Match
So, what's next?
Hello, friends!
My debut book, Their Make-Believe Match, has finally been released and is on sale now! I can't begin to describe how exciting it was to walk into my local book store and see my book on the shelf "out in the wild." Thank you to everyone who has already picked up their copy!
So, what's next for my writing career? I'm excited to share that a second book is in the works. I'm nearly done writing it, and as soon as it is finished and polished, it will be sent to my wonderful literary agent, who will then pitch it to our publisher.
The second book will likely be another stand-alone story and not part of a series. It also takes place in Lancaster County's Amish Country. While I can't give away too many details yet, I can tell you that our hero and heroine, both young Amish adults, aren't exactly the best of friends at the start of the story. They're going to have a lot to overcome before they can finally see eye to eye, and perhaps, maybe even fall in love.
Hopefully, I'll have more to share on this soon!

It's been a long time!
Hello, Readers!
I hope you're all doing well as spring is melting into summer. I'm not a fan of hot weather (to say the least...) but I do enjoy planting and tending to my flowers, as well as time spent beside the pool.
I haven't been very active here on Good Reads, but my plan is to change that. Now, that being said, I don't have any news to share just yet. I'm currently working on two more sweet Amish romances. These books haven't been contracted with my publisher yet, but I'm sending up prayers that they will be soon! I'd appreicate your prayers too! <3
