There's so much to love about this story! The writing is simple yet engaging. The art leaves you wanting to linger on each spread. Kids will feel inspired, especially after learning more about the girl this book was based on. ...more

This book is spellbinding! The author did an amazing job taking a familiar topic and presenting it in a way that is fresh and engaging. The illustrations are moody in the best possible way. Highly recommend!
