Davis manages to tackle a difficult topic in a way that is approachable and tender. Her art is beautiful and adds so much depth to the text. This is a really important book to add to your shelf.

This book is spellbinding! The author did an amazing job taking a familiar topic and presenting it in a way that is fresh and engaging. The illustrations are moody in the best possible way. Highly recommend!
