Jake Stehman is a self-proclaimed movie enthusiast with a love for fast-paced, engaging stories. For years, he struggled to find books that captured his interest in the same way movies did. Through his work as a recruiter, Jake had countless conversations with high school and college students who shared similar frustrations about the lack of captivating reads. These discussions, coupled with an unexpected layoff during the pandemic, motivated him to pick up the pen and create the kind of stories he had been searching for all along. I loved the balance of thrilling football action and the off the field story lines with new and familiar characters. Definitely worth a read. "
