Hi:

Until recently, I considered myself a scientist, not a writer: I have a Ph.D. in psychology, I got into statistics, and I work for a major biotech company. We do have a gene therapy program, and I am fascinated by the prospect of curing genetic diseases. I authored and co-authored several scientific papers, and I love Sci-Fi movies and books.

Then, about two and a half years ago, I suffered an unexpected health crisis. I got in touch with several health care providers who cared. This showed me the importance and healing power of human connection. I suddenly realized that we all come to this planet as foreigners and are then exposed to love and connection that we need to embrace in order to develop. Once we realize that books are written one page at a time, we could develop a firm habit of writing 1-2 pages everyday or evening, and we should just stick with it. (less)
