Bronx-born and raised, Jason Allison spent twenty years with the NYPD, mostly as a homicide detective. His fiction has won a minor regional award and been featured in multiple volumes of Rock and a Hard Place and New England’s Best Crime Stories. Jason and his wife now live in Massachusetts with a sneering, judgmental Golden Retriever. He is represented by Alec Shane of Writers House and posts intermittently about culture at jason-allison.com.
