Did you know that some dogs are amazing swimmers?
Yes, it's true! 🙂
Not every dog likes water but most who do end up being great swimmers. 💦 Have you heard of the Newfoundland named Whizz? Whizz was so good at swimming that he became a water rescue dog and was awarded the PDSA Order of Merit for saving nine people during his career. 😍
But make sure if your dog tries to go for a swim that you are there to supervise. Especially if you aren't sure if they like water or are a good swimmer yet.
