I've run into a number of experiences in my career where for some reason (we all know the reasons) I just didn't find the same success as some of my peers, regardless of usually being just as (or more) qualified, thoughtful, or forward-thinking about my roles.

So when I had the opportunity to watch other people using the tips and tricks, hacks and apps that I'd not just used myself but suggested to other people, and I saw them respected for it while I saw myself and people like me marginalized regardless, I wanted to put something together to help everyone—the people who need career and productivity advice but find themselves on the sidelines at work, managers and colleagues who want to be supportive coworkers, and yes, even privileged people who could use a little empathy. Hopefully this book will be just that!(less)
