When C.A. Morley isn’t reading about relatable characters in magical places, she’s writing about them in her epic romantic fantasy series, Wayfinders. By no means an adrenaline junky, multiple interests and a fearless spirit have led her to experience new things with abandon, making her feel like she’s lived at least three lives. Having visited over forty countries, some of her more memorable adventures include wandering desert roads below the carved sandstone cliffs of Petra, along lava-stone lanes in ancient Pompeii, and on cobblestone streets in medieval Prague. An American wife and mother of four, she resides in the scenic wine region of South Africa.

Fusing Fantasy with the Familiar

Most authors have a tagline. It describes the type of stories they write in the least amount of words. My tagline is “fusing fantasy with the familiar.” I’m a sucker for alliteration and my stories are set in Veriida, a make-believe medieval world that’s similar to ours...

Bluebeard's Bride is my favorite book by Mary Mecham. The characters are edgy, and the plot is twisty. I didn't expect the reveals when they happened. And the witty banter between Alia and Zafir is superb! It has a lot of great tropes like Enemies to ...more

Wow! The Begotten and Blessed exceeded my expectations. I thought it was going to be dark, and was happily surprised that it was loads of fun instead. The adventures are unpredictable. It has lots of characters and creatures, from the good, bad, and ...more
