Kate Zaliznock is a Bay Area-based author. Her first book, THE SAN FRANCISCO DOODLER MURDERS, was released by Arcadia in September 2022.

Her two passions are true crime and the arts, and she has written about the latter for over a decade. She is also the founder of Open Color, an international arts collective and magazine.
