“We don’t want to live our lives on autopilot and wake up one day and think, “Man, where did my life go”? By being intentional about starting our day, we can be more productive, less stressed people by making time for the things that make us happy and fulfilled.”
Carrie Scharf, Radiance and Ritual: Skincare and Self-Care for the Winter Season

“Self facial massage not only feels good, it has many benefits. It helps circulation, releases toxins, is anti-aging, helps your skin absorb skincare products, relieves sinus pressure, helps reduce the appearance of scars, and
relieves tension.”
Carrie Scharf, Skincare For Relaxation

“Skincare is a great form of self-care. It is soothing and calming and is
beneficial in many ways. It can help with stress and anxiety (speaking from
personal experience here), it helps you to be more confident (if you look good,
you feel good), and it’s very relaxing (massaging your face and legs feels
wonderful).”
Carrie Scharf, Skincare For Relaxation

“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
Albert Einstein

“At the root of all misery is unfulfilled desire.”
Scott Hahn, Hope for Hard Times

“Living in the moment is learning how to live between the big moments. It is learning how to make the most of the in-betweens and having the audacity to make those moments just as exciting.”
Morgan Harper Nichols, All Along You Were Blooming: Thoughts for Boundless Living

“Maybe
this heart
of yours
that longs for
something more
is being prepared
for something
so much
greater than you.”
Morgan Harper Nichols
