Maes E. known to everyone by her middle name Esther, loves books. If she could have her own State Library, she would. She worked at a Christian High School for seventeen years and now does full-time ministry where she gets to do her first love: write books.

Maes is the co-host of two popular podcasts. One for children called 'Car ride stories for GIGI kids' and one for teen girls called 'GIGI teen radio'.

As a little girl Maes read lots of books, specially anything that had a mystery (Nancy Drew anyone!?). Reading was a way for her to escape to other worlds and forget about the trauma she had suffered during the war in her country.
