Claudia Brooke has been writing since she could hold a crayon. In addition to writing poetry and short stories, she was a corporate communications and investor relations writer and a copywriter for small businesses.

Her favorite number is two; she loves James Thurber, hot buttered toast, and coffee. She can find almost anything online and plays the accordion.

She has two talented daughters, three delightful grandchildren, and lives with her tolerant husband and muse in Maryland.

Indomitable is her first novel.

Tremendously Entertaining

The best way to study history? Go and see it for yourself. A little romance, a lot of adventure, just the thing to keep me reading long after I should have turned out the lights. Academia was never this much fun!
