Alison Syer is a visual artist and author. She has an Advanced Diploma of Applied Arts (Crafts and Design – Fabrics; with Honours). Her creative work work has been recognized at the MARTY Awards. Her projects include the strawberry-farming themed design for one of MAC's “Banners and Boxes” vinyl-wrapped utility boxes and accompanying banners. Syer is also an avid bird watcher and member of the Cloverleaf Garden Club.
