Paula Fyans has experienced first-hand what it is like managing The Invisible Job from the perspective of a full-time working mother with an international career (in Pharma and university). After working full-time with for ten years as a mother, she gave up her job to try to restore balance to family life and experienced what life as a full-time parent is like. She discovered that the grass is no greener; instead it just presents a very different set of challenges.

Such an illuminating and intelligent book. Brilliant research explained through relatable stories. Highly recommend to anyone even vaguely interested in psychology, the brain or why humans act the way they do
