Michael Anthony Adams, Jr. is originally from Whittier, CA. He's the author of two novels, five collections of short stories, seven collections of poetry, and a memoir. He holds a master’s degree in Philosophy from the New School for Social Research in New York City. As a teenager, he was the lead vocalist and lyricist for Richmond, VA-based hardcore band Broken Chains of Segregation. He’s the founder of Ursprung Collective, a spoken word/music project referred to as “fantastic brain food” on ReverbNation.
