Katrine Bruun is a Danish writer, publisher, and creative entrepreneur with a passion for storytelling that makes a difference.

She is the founder of BruunsBooks, an independent publishing house dedicated to meaningful children's books, memoirs, and guides for self-publishing authors.

Her first English novel, 4 Days in Jamaica, was published in 2025. It is a deeply personal memoir about love, healing, and transformation, based on true events.

In 2022, Katrine launched her children’s book series starring a curious young shark, with titles like The Shark Who Lost a Tooth, The Shark Who Only Wanted to Eat French Fries, and The Shark That Could Not Sleep. Each story gently tackles real-world challenges like friendship, fears, and sustainability.
