I grew up in Sydney, Australia, in a very creative household. My mum writes beautiful poetry, my eldest brother writes children’s stories, my middle brother writes fantasy and my dad writes screenplays.

I have always read books. When I was a child, my mum would read me Pollyanna by Eleanor H. Porter, along with other classics.

My mum has always been my greatest influence. She has always encouraged me to write and continue to better myself.

I had always planned on becoming a primary school teacher; however, when I left high school and entered University, I quickly realised that wasn’t what I wanted to do. I'm not a vain person. I'm not into hair, makeup, clothes and shoes. It's just not my thing.
