Book 5, THE UNMAPPED SEA, now in stores

Unmapped Sea
The delightful new cover art is by Eliza Wheeler.

Lord Fredrick Ashton may not feel ready to be a father, but with a bouncing baby Ashton on the way, he's sure about one thing: The wolfish curse on his family must end soon, before the child is born, "or a Barking Baby Ashton is what we'll get," he warns the household's governess, Miss Penelope Lumley, who willingly takes on the challenge. When Lady Constance's doctor prescribes a wintry seaside holiday to strengthen her constitution, Penelope jumps at the chance to take the three Incorrigible children to Brighton. Once there, she hopes to persuade the old sailor Pudge to reveal what he knows about the Ashton curse.

But the Ashtons are not the only ones at the beach in January. The passionately temperamental Babushkinov family is also taking the winter waters. The Incorrigible children may have been raised by wolves, but the Babushkinov children are the wildest creatures they've ever seen. Is it more than mere coincidence that these untamed children have turned up in Brighton just as Penelope and the Incorrigibles arrive?

Book 4, THE INTERRUPTED TALE, in paperback on April 21st

The Interrupted Tale new cover

When Miss Penelope Lumley receives an invitation to speak at her alma mater on the occasion of the Celebrate Alumnae Knowledge Exposition, she expects the trip to be a piece of cake—or rather, CAKE. But preparing a great oration in the style of Cicero is the least of her problems. The Swanburne board of trustees is now led by none other than Judge Quinzy, and Baroness Hoover is wreaking mayhem on the school's beloved traditions. Meanwhile, Lord Fredrick has demanded some rather unexpected lessons of his own—and why on earth have the Swanburne girls stopped using the hair poultice?

Something strange is afoot at the Swanburne Academy for Poor Bright Females. But with the help of a friendly pirate, some talented chickens, those clever Incorrigible children, and her own substantial reserves of pluck, Penelope won't be easily defeated. She's determined to give her speech, save the school, unmask Judge Quinzy and find out precisely what lies within the blurry pages of that strange diary about shipwrecks and cannibals she found in Lord Fredrick's library. Too bad the pages are unreadable...or are they?
