Wesley Moor hails from Poverty, Kentucky. Nestled between Lemon and Calhoun, Poverty has long been called the crown jewel of the Green River. In a much truer sense though, it absolutely has never been called that. Still, like the rest of the Bluegrass State, it has a certain charm that can seduce and snare the unwary.

In July 2022, Wesley released his debut novel, Pleasant Surprises, a book that combined some of Wesley's favorite things: history, horror, science fiction, and of course, Kentucky. Pleasant Surprises is a Southern-soaked, brain-eating tale with an aching soul that can’t help but shine through.
