Rewinding Time was inspired by the 1988 short play "Sure Thing,"
by David Ives, in which the two characters, Betty and Bill, meet by

concludes with Betty and Bill falling in love. When I decided to use
this trope for a Pride & Prejudice variation, I replaced the
bell with a potion, so I could give Darcy and Elizabeth agency over when
