Ellen is a married mother of two grown boys and
mistress to one tuxedo cat named Shadow. A graduate of Michigan State University, Ellen's been reading and composing stories since the day she discovered Nancy Drew novels as a young girl. After many years in early childhood education, she returned to her roots and began writing in earnest, participating in workshops and entering (and winning)! writing contests. "No Place like Home," is her debut as a published author, with a forthcoming women's fiction novel, "Shelter Me," coming soon. She resides in beautiful Southwest Michigan, where the lakeshore provides much peace and inspiration for more works to come.
