They were so big, I saw my reflection
And everything behind me.
Before that moment they were always
So far away.
Astronomers definitely got it wrong
As far as being anatomically correct.
They were so round & perfect,
At that moment it feels like I could
Have drawn them.
There isn’t a street light
Or a city in existence that could compare.
She kissed me & gave me a memory
That I’ll always remember.
Compared to her everything else
Seemed small.
Until this day it still does.
I continue to search the sky for her
