So we're still in the basic concepts for kids theme with Sami and Thomas and the latest book introduces kids to colors. There's a bit of complexity in that it shows the scientific and artistic of colors and art, but I had a hard time trying to decide where to start. Do I show all about color as it relates to art, with no understanding of the effect of light, and how can I explain value when I don't explain light... yada yada yada. :)

So I did my best to explain both facets of art and we ended up with Concepts of Colors for Kids.

Walk with Sami and Thomas through a beautiful garden filled with letters, animals, objects and insects that will help your child memorize the alphabet and begin spatial learning. With a simple rhyme, funny images, and a set location learning the alphabet will come naturally as kids strengthen their ability to remember each letter in their memory garden.
