Michelle grew up in Maine and she has been actively involved with genealogy and local history for over 35 years. She is the author of the nonfiction two volume set of Vital Records of Bangor Maine published by Picton Press. After raising a large family Michelle had a nearly 20 year career in the newspaper industry before transitioning to promoting tourism in Maine. She is currently writing full time. Michelle and her husband share their home with their dogs Susan and Douglas.

I thought about introducing myself, but my bio is on my page and the back cover of my book! I thought about expalining that I've never written a blog before, but who really wants to hear that?
