CHANGE/UPDATE for The Dangerously Evolved series,
A note to readers about the series: As of March 14, 2024, The Dangerously Evolved series, initially released as four books—Paint My Lies, Start My War, Whisper My Secrets, End My Games—was always meant to be a trilogy. Initially, I was advised to split the first book, Paint My Lies, into two, and I complied. However, this decision never fully resonated with me. I've always seen the ending of book 2, Start My War, as the rightful conclusion to book 1. Now, with more wind under my sails as an author, I feel compelled to honor my original vision. After extensive deliberation, I am merging Books 1 and 2. (If you have downloaded the book from Kindle Unlimited, please make sure the copy you have is the combined version. If it is not, you can simply redownload the updated file.)
Rest assured, nothing substantial changes; consider it receiving a free book incorporated into book 1. This will result in a lengthier book, but I trust my readers are not daunted by size—they are eager for its content.
Moving forward, the Dangerously Evolved series will consist of three books: 1) Paint My Lies, 2) Whisper My Secrets, 3) End My Games.
This decision may be unconventional, but after consulting with trusted fellow authors and my trusted team, I've received overwhelming support. Ultimately, this series, which took over a year to write, needs to leave me feeling content. Most importantly, I want the conclusion of book one to align with what I originally envisioned for my readers. Brace yourselves for a significant surprise and thrill when you reach the last page.

I've addressed some issues.
Exciting News! The Rites of Passage series, books 1 and 2, have been re-edited and enriched with additional scenes, and all my books now have brand new covers. This series marked my debut as an indie author, and now, with a few more books on my shelf, I've taken the opportunity to address a few issues. I've brought in a new editor to elevate the quality. I've also injected a bit more sizzle into certain scenes, but rest assured, the core plot and storyline remain unchanged.
I get it; my readers want spiciness that's hot enough to make your cheeks go from regular to traffic-light red. So, with every book I dish out, and thanks to your amazingly encouraging emails and reviews (they're like my personal cheerleading squad), I'm gradually mustering the courage to serve up those scorching scenes you're yearning for. Stay tuned; I'm just warming up!
In just a few days, I'll announce the release date for the third book in the 'Dangerously Evolved series. I'm currently putting the finishing touches on the fourth book before I hand it off to my editor. This series has been my most challenging project yet. As you know, plenty of lies need unraveling, and questions need answering. Rest assured, I'm diligently working to get it all ready for you to enjoy.
After completing this series, I plan to return to the 'Rites of Passages' series. Dash and Mila's story haunts my thoughts, and I'm eager to get it onto paper.

Updates on Paint My Lies.

I'm working on the final edits on Book 2 in the Dangerously Evolved series, and trust me; it will be a real shocker! 🌟 Get ready for an amazing ride with twists and turns that'll keep you on the edge of your seat, wondering what the truth is, or is it all a lie.
I've finally found the absolutely perfect cover image for the book, and I'm bursting with excitement to share it with all of you. @bookcoversbyamber is working on the cover now.
By the way, I'm an avid reader too, and my Kindle is practically my best friend. Though I can't list them all here n (because as I said, Kindle is my bestie, for example, in 2020, I read 371 books, and it would consume all my time to back-trace and repost what I have read ), I'll make sure to include some fantastic reads from other authors that I've rated 4 stars or higher. Sharing these gems is my little way of spreading the joy of reading!
