Callum's Hell
By V.F. Mason. Callum's HellThis is the 3rd book in the series I've read and while I find them extremely dark and twisted there's something about them that keep me wanting to read more. These books are also filled with pain and torment that almost justifies why the heroes turned into serial killers. Riveting stories that can't really be classified as romances and yet each hero finds the woman who can love and accept him for who he is.

Warm Memories
I love the rain. I love a good thunder storm. Whenever we have a good storm it makes me think of my dad. Any time I went home for a visit in Maine he and I would sit out on the screened in porch, thunder and lightning all around us, and enjoy it together, while my step-mom would yell out through the window what fools we were. We'd just look at each other and smile.

Chapter 6 next week!
Chapter 5
“Lana.” “Hmm?” It was all I could muster now. “Are we going to spend the rest of your birthday in bed?” Joe’s voice was low and close to my ear.
“I thought that was the plan.”
“Not sleeping,” he clarified.
“We can’t have been sleeping that long,” I mumbled, unwilling to open my eyes.
“We left the club after one, remember?”
“Exactly.”

Thursday Book Thoughts
Not too long ago I posted about a book I read where the hero killed himself at the end. You don't expect that in romance books but this time I could understand the pain and sadness he was experiencing over the loss of his young son. In the book he fell in love with a woman who had her own demons and for a while they helped each other. He made it clear to her that he was going to end his life, he

Monday Musings
I retired at 55 because of a disability. In the beginning I felt guilty because I'd worked forty years and it was hard adjusting to the freedom. When I get comments like, "Must be nice," from my adult daughter, or "You don't do anything," from my twelve year old granddaughter I just smile and say, "I paid my dues. I worked forty years. Your time is coming." I'm so enjoying my retirement!

“Fuck
it,” Joe rasped as I collapsed against his glistening body. “That’s not how I
wanted our first fuck to go.” His hands smoothed up and down my backside.
I lifted my head enough to look into his eyes.
“It wasn’t satisfying?” I feigned concern, and then smiled in spite of myself.
It couldn’t have been any more fulfilling for me, I felt very

Thursday Thoughts
You know what I like about books today? Anything and everything goes. Some things may be taboo, okay, they are, but there seems to be no restrictions on what an author can put out there. There's an audience for everything. An author can use their imagination to the fullest, and not be questioned by how out of this world or unbelievable that subject is. It's all fiction anyways.
