When the muses decide to take leave to go follow other pursuits I seldom feel offended. For I know it's only temporary. I decide to go take a walk in the park admiring nature. I find that lying by the seashore reading a good book to be a good source of inspiration to bring me back on track. Like when you carefully choose the scenery for your plot you have to also set the scenery for the muses to come back to you. Go horseback riding, traveling and meeting people of different cultures can also set the stage for some wonderful adventures that can trigger the imagination. (less)
