Plum Parrot is the pen name of author MC Gallup, who grew up in Southern Arizona and spent much of his youth wandering around the Sonoran Desert, hunting imaginary monsters and building forts. He studied creative writing at the University of Arizona and, for a number of years, attempted to teach middle schoolers to love literature and write their own stories. If he's not out walking his Airedale Terrier, you can find Gallup writing, reading his favorite authors, or playing D&D with friends and family. ...more

Cyber Dreams, at least the first series, is complete, as of book 6, yes. I do have hopes of returning to that setting and at least some of those characters, though. I can't promise a specific timeline - we'll see how things progress. If you liked Cyber Dreams, though, I have a new series launching its first book on Kindle and Audible around the start of 2026 (hopefully), called Neon Dust.(less)

"awesome

I really enjoyed the story, my favourite part in any litrpg is always the beginning. I enjoyed the mc growth and look forward to seeing where the story goes from here."
Andy in the Apocalypse by Plum Parrot
"Andy is a great character and there are many good characters. Good writing. I liked the system, the quests and I found the classes given to people were unique and interesting.

Fights were written well. Overall great book will read book 2."

"Great beginning.

A likable and relatable main characters with good supporting characters. I look for this in the genre since most authors ignore these things. I look forward to the next book. "

“Not to mention, I had a good time watching you beat up on the locals.”
Plum Parrot, Titan Blood

“Hey,” he said, turning away from Tes and back to Valla, “I’m going to sacrifice some stuff to my ancestors. Wanna watch?”
Plum Parrot, Titan Blood

“Grinning madly at ap’Gravin, looking into his wide, haunted eyes, he lifted the heart from its container and tore into it, ripping a huge bloody chunk away, chomping it, and swallowing it noisily. Victor had thought about this—briefly, sure, but he had thought about it. He didn’t know what would happen when he ate this heart, but he figured it would be impressive,”
