"This book didn’t just “tell a story.” It grabbed me by the throat, drained my emotional energy like a MET 1, and left me staring into the void wondering if humanity even deserves rights.
Evolution is what happens when you take “human progress” and let" Read more of this review » |

The Exorcist's House (The Exorcist's House Universe #1):
"Well, that was a steaming pile of garbage.

Wow. Such a pile of crap. Writing is so bad, it makes me wonder how did it pass checks by an agent and a publisher? Jesus, it sounds like it was written by a 15 year old illiterate. THERE IS NO PLOT. Like none whatsoever. Nothing. Zero. Just a girl and ...more |

This was a fast paced book that gripped me from page one. But half way through, the "dramatic" endings of the chapters got tiring. It didn't feel like something bad is going to happen next, because the tehnique was over used. I'm a horror author. If I ...more |

“He desperately kept on struggling as it seemed he was clinging even tighter to the colder and colder bench and he saw, terrified, that the clouds were gathering in anticipation of a storm. The branches of the trees fell again like claws over the alley, and he felt fear again. A cold and oppressive fear that drained him of strength and sucked the life out of him. Eventually he stopped motionless and closed his eyes praying that everything would pass just like the first time.
Maybe it's just a dream, it must be just a dream, it's just a dream. Impossible, impossible, it's just a dream. I will open my eyes and see the children in the colorful swings, I will feel the sun warm up my face, it will be late, or it will be tomorrow. I don't even care how long I slept. I just want to wake up.”

“Help me. He wants to kill me.
What the heck? The second sentence had the effect of a strong coffee. I woke up instantly. I stood up and tried to process the information. An individual I didn't know was in danger and needed ... me? This was mind-blowing. And on top of it absurd. I wrote back:
Who wants to kill you? Why don't you call the police?”
