Karli Crispin grew up in the small beach town of Lewes, Delaware. She moved away from home to attend James Madison University, where she earned a bachelors degree in International Affairs. She always dreamed of traveling the world and in March of 2022, she booked a one way ticket to Thailand, and started her journey of traveling to nine countries on her own. She has met some interesting characters along the way--some who have inspired some of the poems in her first book 'poems written by a late bloomer.' As an avid observer of the human experience, Karli's home changes from month to month as she searches for her next adventure; whether it be motorbiking in northern Vietnam or living on a deserted island off of the coast of Indonesia. ...more
