When she's not 'researching' crimes or devising increasingly devious obstacles for her fictional characters, she enjoys badly crocheting, playing Nintendo Switch games on the easiest mode and watching copious amounts of reality TV. She is both disabled and chronically ill and her stories usually feature heroines of the same persuasion. She is owned by and obsessed with her two cats, Scout and Sunny. “It's like the people who believe they'll be happy if they go and live somewhere else, but who learn it doesn't work that way. Wherever you go, you take yourself with you. If you see what I mean.”
