A D Bollen is an Australian dark fantasy author based in southeast Queensland, and the creator of The Chronicles of Serenity, an adult epic fantasy series set in a world where gods, orcs, elves, and demonspawn collide in a centuries-old struggle for power.
A lifelong fan of the fantasy genre, Bollen stepped away from a successful career as a business owner to dedicate himself to the craft of storytelling. His debut novel, A Succession of Swords: Even Gods Bleed (Book One of The Chronicles of Serenity), was released in November 2022 to strong reader acclaim, praised for its rich world-building, unexpected plot twists, and deeply human characters.
