Vampires and Awesome Women Mc's
As an author myself I wasn't sure if I wanted to do a blog about my reading escapades, but I finally decided that I want to share in reading with other wonderful humans here too and have the opportunity to discover new books and fellow authors in the process.
So, what do I want to write about?
Vampires, because I love vampire stories both reading and writing.
and
Badass women in fiction-specifically women who take the lead and don't fall into the tropes of giving up all of their powers when they fall in love or to save everyone.
I don't really want to put any negativity out there so what I plan on doing is: Whenever I read a book which is 4 or 5 stars to me for enjoyment and falls in to these two categories I will write a nice little blog post about them.
Some of my favorite vampire stories Books and Media:
The last Vampire - Christopher Pike
The vampire Lestat- Anne Rice
Underworld- Series
Kiss of the Damned- Movie
30 Days of night - Graphic novel (and movie)
Some of my favorite women in fiction (books and media) are:
Ripply (Alien/ Aliens Series)
Seline (Underworld)
Katniss (Hunger games)
Sita (The last Vampire)
Lisa (Exit to Eden)
Ellen ( My Heartbeat)
Anne ( Persuasion )
Sarah Connor (Terminator series)
Alice (Resident evil-specifically the first 3 movies)
What about you?
