Shelly a Los Angeles townie who writes dark screenplays, novels, and short stories. Her work has appeared in a dozen anthologies. Ghoulish Books published her first novel, Like Real, in 2023. Her second book, Behold, He Scatters His Lightning, releases from Nightmare Press in June 2026, and her third June Bride, will arrive from Laughing Man House in 2027. Loved the writing, and the history. I had to look up some of the characters because Katsu wrote them so compellingly, I had to know that they existed -- or just needed to know more about them. Very immersive read.
