Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kaylea L. Harris [KAY-lee] is a singer, teacher, and writer. She earned her B.A. in English from the University of Central Oklahoma and is pursuing a graduate degree in Intercultural Studies at Oklahoma Baptist University. Kaylea is an award-winning English Language Arts teacher who has taught grades 9–11.

In November 2022, Kaylea published her debut book, The Little Professor, described as a spiritual and uplifting allegory, followed by her moving afterword, detailing the stories of the real-life professors who inspired the book. Kaylea is currently working on her second book, The Beautiful Glowing Light, a Little Professor story.
