Not enjoying it so far. It's a book-club read which I belong to so a must read but finding it tedious and the "correspondent' unlikeable. I didn't change my opinion . It doesn't even begin to compare with 85 Charing Cross Road, a much superior book a ...more

The most amazing little book (in length but not in substance). she has the most unique writing style and I loved it. - immediately engaging. A serious story about the removal of entire Japanese communities from US cities during the second World War. ...more
