Pro: original, compelling characters, kept me guessing Cons: poor editing/translation, many loose ends, and too many things crammed into a fairly short book which did not allow for a more organic development of storylines and themes Overall, " Read more of this review » |

"This is a wonderfully genre-bending romp packed with creativity and just my kind of mix of weirdness, with some horror to boot. A rather dark and different tale that takes some brave steps outside the usual fantasy norms. "

"A promising start for this author's debut, but it's marred by faults in the translation, and formatting.

Sad to hear that. It's a beautiful, but really really difficult language.
However, it's never too late to learn it! :)

Dear Norbert,Thank you for the friend request. I will check out Sealed Empire soon.
My maternal grandparents came to the USA from NE Hungary in the early 1900s. One of my biggest regrets is that I did not think to have my Grandmother Vargo teach me Magyar when we lived close to them. The name was originally Varga, but was changed when the family arrived here. My Grandmother's maiden name was Fodor.
Regards,
Kay
