| It’s a sweet book, light and fluffy. The astrology was a bit much. The cats were very uncatlike. My hunch is the translation was very poor — it didn’t feel like the book was about Japanese people. | |

| I’ve wanted to read him for a while and I was glad to read this. He’s clearly a great writer. At the end of the day, it was a little too Wes Anderson does race for me, and I got, in, tired of elevators. But I’d read him again. | |
