Jonathan VanAntwerpen is a program director at the Henry Luce Foundation, and co-editor of a series of books on secularism, religion, and public life. He was founding editor of The Immanent Frame, a digital forum produced by the Social Science Research Council (SSRC). Originally trained as a philosopher, VanAntwerpen holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
