At last -- a podcast for science book lovers!
I'm thrilled to announce the launch of a new podcast called BookLab, hosted by myself and science journalist Amanda Gefter. Every two weeks, Amanda and I review the latest in popular science books. Look for the podcast on LibSyn or SoundCloud, or subscribe on iTunes. We hope you enjoy it!

A very Shakespeare spring!
This has been a busy but incredibly rewarding year for me so far, with my latest book, "The Science of Shakespeare," published last month (just in time for the playwright's 450th birthday!).
It's been a pleasure taking the book "on the road" this spring, with talks in eastern Canada and the U.S. More upcoming talks can be found at:
http://danfalk.ca/upcoming-events.
I'm also grateful for the coverage the book has received so far, from media outlets like New Scientist, Scientific American, Smithsonian, slate.com, cbc.ca, and NPR. Links to some of the coverage can be found at:

I've also just posted a seven-minute "trailer" for the book; I hope you enjoy this short video:

Happy 450th, William!
