Katie Cunningham is a Python and Django developer for Speak Agent
by day, and a technical writer by night. While she had always had an interest in programming, it didn't turn
into a career until she started to work at NASA. There, she slowly
transitioned from gathering requirements to developing full time,
advocating the use of more open source in the government sector.

It was at NASA that she gained an interest in 508 compliance. At

Against the Aeon Throne: Book 2 – GM thoughts

Ages ago, I grabbed a good chunk of the Starfinder RPG off of Humble Bundle. “learn Python? Why not a language that was made for beginners, such as Scratch? Why not learn Java or C++, which most colleges seem to be using? Personally, I believe that Python is an ideal language for beginners. It runs on multiple systems. The syntax (the grammar of the language) isn’t fussy. It’s easy to read, and many people can walk through a simple script and understand”
Katie Cunningham, Python in 24 Hours, Sams Teach Yourself

“I’ve never really liked the Yanks. They’re really very nice people, you know. Yes, but you can’t trust people who pick up the ball all the time when they play football.”
Terry Pratchett, Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch

“If you try this yourself, I recommend doing so when no one is home. Otherwise, you will run the risk of someone walking in on you and having to witness a scene that includes a mirror, the husband’s Stanley Powerlock tape measure, and the half-undressed self, squatting.”
Mary Roach, Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex

“I want to see a doctor," I said.
He beamed. "But you've already seen one. Lucky Chang has M.I).s and Ph.D.s from every school between Seoul and Pusan. You were treated by the most capable surgeon to ever come out of Korea."
"I want to see a less capable doctor.”
Yongsoo Park, Boy Genius

“Since hardware keeps getting better but our brainpower doesn’t, that trade-off starts to make more and more sense.”
Robert Nystrom, Game Programming Patterns
